Founder and Wealth Advisor

Nicholas Chiricosta, CFP®, MPAS®, EA, CRPC®, AWMA®, is the founder and wealth advisor of Utopia Wealth Management, an independent, fee-only registered investment adviser in Coconut Creek, Florida. Nick works with high-net-worth individuals and families, business owners, and current and retired professional athletes, providing comprehensive wealth planning and investment management. That work includes retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning coordination and investment management.

Before founding Utopia in 2019, Nick spent more than a decade in financial services. He provided financial guidance to professional athletes and entertainers, worked in the multi-family office space, and served as a Senior Wealth Planning Consultant at BMO Wealth Management.

Nick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an IRS Enrolled Agent, a federally authorized tax practitioner, which allows him to bring tax considerations directly into the planning process. He holds a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning [from Boston University, confirm] and a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida. He also holds the Master Planner Advanced Studies℠ (MPAS®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (AWMA®) designations.

Nick believes good planning should help people prepare for the future and also enjoy the life they've worked to build. As he puts it, the question isn't only "What if I run out of money?" but also "What if I run out of time?"

Nick grew up in Parkland, Florida, where he lives with his family. He is an alumnus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and is active in the community. He was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Young Friends of the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of South Florida.
